悲しみの姫君
The Princess of Sorrow
最初に訪れたのは大陸の端の小さな国で、
桜姫という美しい姫がいるのどかな場所だった。
しかし、話を聞くと行方不明の姉を想い心を痛める日々だという。
悲しげに姉との思い出の歌を口ずさむ姫に久郎衛(くろえ)は力に貸す事を申し出た。
姉は大陸で戦乱が起き始めた今より一年ほど前から行方がわからないのだと言う。
Our first stop was a small country at the edge of the continent
It was a peaceful place with a beautiful princess named Princess Cherry Blossom.
However, when we talked to her, she told us that she was having a hard time thinking about her missing sister.
Kuroe offers to help the princess, who sadly hums a song that reminds her of her sister.
She said that her sister had been missing for about a year before the war broke out on the continent.

久郎衛はかなりのお人よしの様だ。
自分のことも碌に判らないはずなのに、よくそんなに人の手助けばかり引き受けるものだと、少し呆れてしまう。
そんな事をぼんやり考える私をよそに、
桜姫は戦乱のことを何も知らない久郎衛達にこの大陸の情勢を話してくれた。

うわさ話

この国からさらに山を越えた先では
数々の国が戦に巻き込まれ、
その中心にいるのは九鬼(くき)将軍と呼ばれる大国の将軍だと言う。
九鬼将軍は次々に大陸の国を支配下に置き、
恐ろしい力によって魂を抜き取っているらしい、
とか
属国となってしまった国の土地にはこの世のものとは思えない不気味な化け物が溢れている、
とか
街の中を歩いていても、あちらこちらから九鬼将軍にまつわる
にわかには信じがたい不穏な噂話が聞こえてきた。
Further over the mountains from this country, many nations are involved in warfare, and at the center of it all is a general of a great nation called Kuki.
It seems that General Kuki has taken control of one continental country after another and is extracting souls through his terrible power.
In addition, the land of the country that has become a vassal state is said to be filled with creepy monsters that are out of this world.
When we walk around the town, we will find many places related to General Kuki.
we heard some disturbing gossip that was hard to believe.
