Japanese stringed instruments have good chemestry with Bach's music I thought.
Today, I found a video of my favorite piece Chaconne played by Maya Kimura on KOTO, Japanese harp. It makes so melanchory sounds but very beautiful.

Another video of Bach's Chaconne on Tsugaru Shamisen.
Shamisen is a three-stringed instulment so that is very difficult to play polyphonic melodies like baroque music. Great Performance!
