We had a great turnout today. Thank you!
After doing today's theme talk, I thought to myself. Puns are hard! It was. The funny thing about puns comes from the fact that Japanese people feel that they sound the same. But if they don't sound the same in the first place, the Japanese sense of the word "? it would be "?". For example, the pronunciation of "ta" in "Tanaka" and "Nakata". Many Japanese people think they sound the same, but many others think they sound different.
For example, "Futon ga blow away," "Frogs are coming home," "Can I make excuses?" I introduced various puns such as "Futon blew away," "Frogs are coming back," and "Can I make excuses? The after-talk was a mixture of those that made us laugh and those that made us wonder, "What's wrong with that?
In the after talk, we learned a little bit about the fast-talking language of each country. It was Brazilian and Chinese fast-talk. It was very interesting, but it seemed very difficult to pronounce.
The theme is getting a little more difficult these days, isn't it? Next week, I would like to be a little gentler and have the participants talk about "something good that happened recently.
