When I faced various difficulties, I prayed to God from the bottom of my heart and asked for help. Of course, Mr. Mabay's faith would be deeper than mine. Mr. Mabay explains in the magazine five reasons for the current crisis, three signs of hope, and three prayers for what is needed next.

When I hear information about the current fierce battle situation every day, are there enough supplies? Is it possible to treat the injured person? However, no one knows when and how God's work will be done.

Mabey now recommends reading his Psalm 46.

God is our arefuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

God is in the amidst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

The aLord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

He maketh awars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Be astill, and bknow that I am God: I will be cexalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

So how do you read Psalm 46 in the current situation in Myanmar?

One commentator said, "As a Christian who believes in the Bible, I don't think we should just look at this fact and be at a loss with fear and surprise. When Jesus talked about the last days, difficult times He was told to come, but this wasn't meant to scare us. It teaches us how to act in those difficult times. Wake up and be alert. Instead, we need to watch carefully, be faithful, use our gifts wisely, and trust in the Lord. "
