Among the most prosperous blockchains in 2021 is Solana. The value of SOL, the native token of the blockchain, has dropped recently due to the market crash and the largest FTX crisis in 2022. That does not, however, imply that we ignore the benefits of using this blockchain; in addition, Ethereum, the dominant player in the DeFi cryptocurrency market right now, faces serious competition from it.

The goal of the blockchain platform Solana is to support scalable and decentralized applications. It is an open-source project that was started in 2017 and is currently run by Fundación Solana, a company based in Geneva. The blockchain was created by Laboratorios Solana, located in San Francisco.
