One of the greatest catalysts in Altcoin history is around the corner, and few if any are talking about it. The ETH spot ETF approval is in its final stages, and will likely list in the coming weeks. In an about-face, rumors are that the SEC will also consider allowing staking in the ETH ETFs.

If the BTC ETFs are any indication, the influx of capital into ETH will be huge. The effect of those inflows on the price of ETH will be far greater than in the case of Bitcoin, as it has roughly 1/3rd the market cap, record low exchange balances, over 30% of the supply staked and growing, and has a large percentage of its supply locked in DeFi use cases.

Yet there is one factor that will cause those ETH ETF inflows to translate directly into Altcoin prices and an Altcoin season to rival the most explosive in crypto history. The overwhelming majority of Altcoin liquidity pools are paired with ETH. As the price of ETH increases with inflows, the value of the paired Altcoins priced in USD rises in tandem, which sparks a rally and attracts a rotation of the newfound ETH capital into Altcoins, which ignites a face-melting Altcoin season, which attracts more capital … and the upward vortex continues until we get a local blow off top. That time is getting very close. Few recognize the explosive potential of this perfect storm.
