私が以前住んでいたドバイにもDaisoがありました。
Daisoの次に大きいのがセリアという会社です。
その会社の河合社長のインタビュー記事が昨日の日本経済新聞にありました。

最近はさまざまな商品が値上がりしています。
100円均一ショップも値上げをしているところが多いですが、セリアは今も100円均一を続けているそうです。
その理由の1つとして河合さんが話していたことが興味深かったです。

100円均一だとお客さんが商品の価格を値札を見て確認しなくても気軽に買うことができます。
