I participated in an event called "Walking through Paris' Immigrant Quarter: Africa⇄Paris" - Ethnic, African and Arab in Paris - held in Tokyo.
The event was very interesting.

This event was held at a place called hako gallery.
I thought it was a good place for us to have an event with international students.
The website didn't seem to have any prices or anything on it, so I emailed them.
Actually, this is not the first time I have been here.
I have already been three times in the past two and a half years.
But at that time, I didn't think of doing any events myself.
It's interesting.
Even if we are looking at the same thing, what we see or try to see is different depending on our situation at that time.
When I participated in various events, I gained one more perspective that I have.

東京で開催された「パリの移民街を歩く アフリカ⇄パリ」-パリの中のエスニック、アフリカ・アラブ- というイベントに参加してきました。
イベントはすごく興味深いものでした。でも、この投稿ではイベントの話をするのではありません。
イベントが開催された場所についての話をします。このイベントはhako galleryというところで行われました。
留学生の人たちとのイベントをする場所としてもよい場所だと思いました。サイトには料金などが書いていないようでしたので、メールで問い合わせました。
実はここに来るのは初めてではありません。この2年半ほどですでに3回行きました。でも、その時は自分がなにかのイベントをすることは考えていませんでした。
おもしろいですね。同じものを見ていても、その時の自分の状況で見えるものや見ようとするものが違ってきます。
いろいろなイベントに参加した時に、自分が持つ視点が一つ増えました。自分がイベントを行う時にこの場所をつかえるだろうかという視点です。
