日記19 : How to take a bath

A while ago, the "bath cancellation community" became a hot topic on X.
To be honest, I also have a hard time taking a bath and it takes me a long time to decide to take a bath, so I understand that very well.

Even on this semi-anonymous internet, it's hard to confess this problem because people will see me as a dirty, anti-social person. I want to make various excuses to say that I'm not like that, but it's actually hard to see myself objectively, so maybe I have to admit that I am. I need solutions.

When I googled a solution, I found a lot of tips on "THE CORRECT WAY” to take a bath. What's scary is that they say there are many steps to taking a bath correctly. This makes it even more difficult to take a bath.

I searched it again with the keyword of “How to make yourself want to take a bath”, I got more useful information.
One website says that the main reason of why taking a bath is such a hassle is because it takes so much time and effort to prepare and clean up. I think that is true.
And I found several real solutions, like using bath salt, listening to music, and so on. But these solutions cannot solve the problem of preparing directly. After using bath salt, it seems more effort might be needed to clean up the tub. And I can listen to my favorite music with clearer sound without having to take a bath.

As I continued my search, I discovered that the bath manufacturer TOTO offers a bath with an automatic cleaning function.

It appears that the first step to taking a bath more easily is to move out of my current rental property and buy a house with this bathtub.
