日記60 : Abruptly

Today I studied this word from the following sentence:
Failure catapults you abruptly way out over here into the blinding darkness of disappointment.

This message stuck in my mind. The overall message of the presentation in which this sentence was included was, "Find a field that you really love so much that you'll continue even if you fail or succeed."
I think this is good advice too but the expression of the sentence I showed above is impressive for me.
