ファーイスティン楽曲まとめ: FUREASTEEN 【pronounce fə́ːr- íːstíːn】 were a four-piece band with Japanese art school students. 当初ファーイースティンは、４人のメンバーがいて、トモカズのみ経験があるミュージシャンで他のメンバーはアートスクールに通う日本人学生でした。毎週日曜日にキングスクロスにあるフラットにて、安いシンセサイザーとカシオトーンのみで実験的な音楽を奏でレコーディングに明け暮れていました。1997年にアイ・レコード（Che Records傘下) より「カシオテレミュージック」の７インチシングルをリリースしましたが、ほどなくバンドは解散しました。トモカズだけがファーイスティン名義で音楽を作って活動しています。

BLUE 439 BLUE 439' named after 60's movie Michelangelo Antonioni's "Blow-Up" Pls see the great film and where it'd taken. Rock Cafe Bar 'SONGBIRD' is the place where they hang out. The small bar with the full volume of old Rock'n'roll music saved his life like one of Lou Reed's legendary song. Beside 'SONGBIRD' bar, there was a music studio called 'LAZOR BOY'. The place where so much of 60's psychedelic atmosphere and good vibes. Tom Dante and Blue 439 used to have a gig and party weekend.
再生Naked sun 裸の太陽
Naked sun (Slipped) はだかの太陽 初期のファーイースティンでこの曲をやっていた。 2018年にもう一度レコーディングしようと思って、 今回はアコースティックバージョンにしてみた。 歌詞も元々あったSFのディストピア感に、現実に起こったあの2011年の大震を重ねた。 多くの人にとって、あの事は忘れられない、忘れてはならない出来事になった。 自分の中で整理をつけるために、最後のコーラスを付け加えた。 原曲は、Slippedというタイトルだったが、途中からNaked Sunにした。 このタイトルは、 アイザック・アシモフのSF小説から取られた。 よく、ロンドンのソーホーで ハンギングアラウンド(たむろ)していて、 ルパートストリートとか、 レキシントンストリートとか？ 忘れたけど、 屋台がいっぱい出ていた。 そんな中、ジェイムス という青年がやっていた古本屋台で そいつと仲良くなって、 古本をよく買ってた ^_^ 元々、フィリップKディックが好きだった私に、 「ＰKディックは頭がおかしいから、英語の勉強にならない …ちゃんと古典SFを読んだ方がいい」と言われて、 アシモフとかハインラインとかの中古本を僕に売りつけてた^_^ ハインラインの「夏への扉」は、 すべての愛すべき猫たちのイメージと重なって、すごく好きな小説だ。 この小説との出会いが、ベルギーで飼っていた？(同居していた)ポンポンや、 ミョミョやチェリーの愛猫たちとの日々を思い出させたり、インスピレーションの元になったりしている。 歌詞のイマジナリーな世界と現実世界で言えば、自分は千葉の稲毛生まれなので、 稲毛海岸に頻繁に行っていた。 その昔、東京湾は汚かった。 稲毛海岸から、ずうっと向こうの工場地帯の煙突から煙が出ていたり、ゴミとか散らばってたし。 もちろん、プールとかあって、友達とよく行ったけど。 そんな海岸のイメージと福島と帰郷とかが混ざり合って、生まれた曲。 そういえば、「工業海岸のオペラ」なんていうタイトルで、短編小説書いたな^_^ あの原稿どこに行ったのかな？ Naked Sun (Slipped) The Sun has slipped into my days and heated my ice blocks.
