President Trump, your values and what you stand for are the complete opposite of London's values and the values in this country.

トランプ大統領、もしこちらをご覧になっているのならば、閣下の価値観や信条と、ロンドン、そして我が国のそれは全く相反するものである、ということをお伝えしておきます。

We think diversity is not a weakness, diversity is a strength, we respect women and we think they are equal to men. We think it's important to safeguard the rights of all of us, particularly the vulnerable and the marginalised.

我々は多様性を弱さではなく、強さであると考えます。女性を尊重し、男性と同じであると考えます。あらゆる者の権利が守られるべき、とくに、弱き者、そしてその存在を矮小化されている者は守られるべきだと考えます。

When you are the President of the USA you have a massive leadership role, you have a massive platform as well. People follow what you do.

Recent years in the USA, we are seeing a rollback of what was earned in the last decades. What is important is that we continue to move on forward.

What we are seeing in the USA is a rolling back of the reproductive rights of women. We've got a situation now where some states in the USA are making it almost impossible for women to have the right to have an abortion.

近年米国では、女性のリプロダクティブライツ（性と生殖に関する権利）が退行しています。米国の一部の州では、女性は中絶の権利を訴えることが全くできなくなりつつあります。

One only has to look at the history books to realise the consequences of women not having the right to choose over their own bodies. What we can't afford to do is return to backstreet abortions.

歴史書を紐解けば、女性が自身の身体の自由を持たないことの影響は明白でです。我々は最早、陰で堕胎が横行していた時代に戻る訳にはいきません。

What we can't afford to see is a return to the situation in yester-decades where you had women having no control over their bodies.

女性が身体の自由を持たなかった数十年前に戻る訳にはいかないのです。

It's really important we support the women in the USA.

The fight for gender equality shouldn’t just be a fight for women and girls. All of us should be feminist, and that means men and boys, too.

アメリカの女性を支援することは、我々にとってひじょうに大切なことです。ジェンダー平等を求める闘いは、女の子や成人女性の権利を求めるだけの闘いではありません。我々すべてがフェミニストであるべきなのです。

男の子も、成人男性もです。

It was Malala Yousafzai, the Nobel Peace Prize winner who said,

“how can all of us benefit when half of us are held back?”

That's why it's in all of our interest to be feminists.

かつてノーベル賞受賞者のマララ・ユスフザイはこう言いました。

だから、我々にはフェミニストであることの理由があるのです。

If you believe that it's wrong that there is gender inequality if you believe it's wrong that women earn less than men, if you believe it's wrong that women are still discriminated against in 2019, then you are a feminist.

ジェンダー不平等が間違っていると思うならば、女性が男性よりも稼げないことが間違っていると思うならば、2019年に至っても女性が差別されていることが間違っていると思うのならば、あなたはフェミニストです。
