はじめに

ブラジル時間2023年4月13日、ジャニーズ事務所所属時代にジャニー喜多川氏による性的虐待を受けたことを前日の会見で明かしたアーティストのカウアン・オカモト氏の現在の所属事務所「TK7 Group」（在サンパウロ）が声明 (Communicado) を発表。ツイッターなど各種SNSに投稿した。その内容は会見の内容を「事実」と認め、オカモト氏への連帯、支持し「できうるかぎりの支援」を提供し「ともにあり続けます」とするものだった。

Due to the recent news regarding our artist Kauan Okamoto, we came through this announcement to remedy the doubts and rumors that are circulating.　(このたび、弊社所属アーティストのカウアン・オカモトに関する一連の報道を受け、これらにまつわる疑念や風評を払拭するため、次のような発表をさせていただきました。)

We at TK7 Group, together with the artist Kauan Okamoto, have come to the public to position ourselves regarding the latest events. We make it clear that part of the information circulating in the media is true.

私たちTK7 Groupは、アーティストのカウアン・オカモトとともに私たち自身の立場を明らかにするために、このたびの一連の出来事を公にすることにいたしました。メディアで流れている情報の一部は事実であると明言します。

In his time as an artist, within "Johnny & Associates", Kauan Okamoto was one of the victims of sexual abuse, from the age of 15 to 20, committed by the late CEO Johnny Kitagawa.

カウアン・オカモトは、アーティストとして「ジャニーズ事務所」に所属していた頃、15歳から20歳までのあいだに、故ジャニー喜多川社長から性的虐待を受けた被害者の一人です。

The reason for the speculations and rumors that began to circulate yesterday, April 12th, in Brazil are the result of the repercussions of a recent interview where Kauan gives details about what happened to "The Japan Times" magazine, published on April 5th, causing a big uproar on Japanese social media.
