ハリードたちは、魔王殿にゴンを救出しに向かった。その途中、カタリナが話しかけた。

「あなたの仇、神王教団って、どういった教団なのかしら？」

「俺も詳しくは知らないが、15年前の死食で魔王、聖王に続いて神王が生まれた・・・その神王を崇める宗教なんだとさ。奴らは、その15年前の死食で生き残った宿命の子を必死に探しているらしい」

この話を聞いて、エレンの顔色が、なぜか悪くなっていた。

「どうした、エレン？調子でも悪いのか？」

「ううん、なんでもないわよ」

エレンは、一人、何かを心配している様子だった。一行は、魔王殿に到着した。

「これが魔王殿か・・・600年前、魔王が居城としていた場所・・・」

「とにかく探そう。ゴンがモンスターに襲われる前に」

魔王殿に入っていくと、さっそくモンスターが襲ってきた。

「きたな、ゴブリンか。カムシーンを食らえ」

ハリードは曲刀でゴブリンを倒していった。カタリナも、剣でスライムを倒していた。

魔王殿はところどころ、壁にひびが入っていたり、床に穴が開いていたりして、危険な場所だった。モンスターを倒しつつ、一部屋ずつ、ゴンがいないかみてまわっていた。

すると、小さい部屋にゴンがうずくまっているのを発見した。

「ミッチはいた？」

「大丈夫、ミューズ様のところにいるよ」

「えーん、怖かったよお」

「よしよし、あんたは立派だったよ、ゴン」

ゴンを救出し、魔王殿を出ようとしたところ、一体の鬼が行く手をはばんだ。

「ふはは・・・やっと見つけたぞ・・・宿命の子だな・・・アラケス様がお喜びになる」

「なに？！宿命の子・・・この中にいるのか・・・まさか、サラ？」

エレンは黙っている。

「さあ、宿命の子を渡してもらおうか。宿命の子には、アビスゲートを開く力があるのだ」

「なに、もうアビスゲートは開いているのではないのか？」

「アビスゲートは、完全には開いていない。そのため、アラケス様は、完全に開くために、宿命の子を欲していらっしゃるのだ」

「サラは私の妹、ただの女の子よ。絶対に渡さないから。私と戦いなさい！」

エレンが言った。すると、鬼は素早くエレンに攻撃をしかけた。エレンは盾で防ぎカウンターのパンチを鬼に与えた。

「ぐぬう、小娘があ！」

さらに、鬼が倒れたところを、エレンは鬼の足をつかんで、振り回しはじめた。

「ジャイアントスイングよ！」

エレンは鬼を放り投げた。鬼は頭を打ち付けて、ダメージを受けた。

「く、せっかく、宿命の子を見つけたのに。ぐああ」

鬼は息絶えた。

「早くここを出よう。さっきのようなモンスターが、またサラを狙ってくるかもしれない」

トーマスはそう言って、みんなを魔王殿から出るよう促した。

トーマス、サラ、エレンたちは走って魔王殿から脱出した。追ってくるモンスターはいなかった。

「ハア、ハア、やっと出てこれた」

シャールは、トーマスたちに礼を言った。

「ゴンを助け出すことができた・・・かたじけない・・・それにしても・・・宿命の子とは・・・」

「この話は、ここだけにしてもらえますでしょうか？誰にも言わないでください」

トーマスはシャールに頼んでいた。

「わかりました。誰にも話しません」

シャールは、ゴンを連れて、ミューズの家に戻っていった。

「エレン・・・サラのこと・・・知っていたのか？」

「うん・・・実は・・・15年前の死食のとき、ユリアンの妹は死んじゃったのだけど、サラは生き残った・・・それで、ひょっとしたらサラが宿命の子なんじゃないかって・・・そんな風な予感はしていたの」

「そうだったのか・・・」

「私が、宿命の子・・・」

「四魔貴族は、サラを狙っている・・・一緒に冒険するのは危ないんじゃないか？」

ハリードは、サラの身を案じた。

「いや、サラが一人でいるほうが危ないだろう。いつ、モンスターにさらわれてしまうかわからない。みんなで、四魔貴族を倒して、サラを守ろう」

トーマスはこう、話した。みんなも納得したようだ。

「サラ、あなたを絶対に守ってみせるわ」

「お姉ちゃん、私も、アビスゲートを閉じるために、みんなと戦いたい」

トーマスたちは、一致団結して、アビスゲートを閉じるために戦うことになった。また、ハリードとカタリナは、宿敵である神王教団と戦うことも決意していた。

Khalid and the others headed to the Demon King's Palace to rescue Gon. On the way, Katarina spoke to Khalid.

"What kind of cult is your enemy, the God King church?"

After rescuing Gon and trying to leave the Demon King's Palace, an oni blocks his way.

"Fuhaha... I've finally found you... You're a destined child... Master Arakes will be delighted."

"What?! The destined child... are you in here... no way, Sara?"

Ellen is silent.

"Come on, let me hand over the child of destiny. The child of destiny has the power to open the Abyss Gate."

"What, isn't the Abyss Gate open already?"

"The Abyss Gate is not completely open. That is why master Arakes wants a child of destiny to open it completely."

"Sarah is my little sister, just a girl. I will never give it to you. Fight me!"

Ellen said. Then the demon quickly attacked Eren. Eren blocked with her shield and delivered a counter punch to the demon.

Ellen threw the demon away. The demon hit him on the head and took damage.

The demon died.

Thomas said so and urged everyone to leave the Demon King Hall.

Thomas, Sara, and Ellen ran and escaped from the Demon Lord's Hall. There were no monsters chasing me.

Sharl thanked Thomas and the others.

"I was able to save Gon... I can't help it... but... a child of destiny..."

Thomas asked Sharl.

"Okay. I won't tell anyone."

Sharl takes Gon back to Muse's house.

"Ellen... did you know about Sarah?"

"Yeah... Actually... 15 years ago during the Death Eater, Julian's sister died, but Sara survived... so maybe Sara is the destined child... I had a hunch like that."

"Is that so···"

"I am the destined child..."

"The Four Demon Nobles are aiming for Sarah... isn't it dangerous to go on an adventure together?"

Khalid worried about Sarah.

"No, it would be more dangerous for Sarah to be alone. We don't know when she will be kidnapped by monsters. Let's all defeat the four demon nobles and protect Sarah."

Thomas said this. Everyone seemed to agree.
