日本の履歴書と根本的に異なる点は、「ジェンダー」「生年月日」などの情報は不要だということだ。職業的なスキルと無関係だからだ（逆にいうと、日本企業は年齢やジェンダーで差別していることになる）。大学で何を研究したか、誰かからの推薦があるか、などを書いたほうがいいようだ。推薦は別になくてもいいが、業界で有名な人やそれなりの役職がある人からの推薦があると、心強い。

私の英文レジュメを晒すのはさすがにマズイのでしないが、日本語の職務経歴書よりも簡素に書いたほうがいいようだ。簡潔に、自身の強みや「特にアピールしたいプロジェクト」に絞って書くといいだろう。

主語なども省略していい。英語は普段は主語を絶対に省略しないので違和感があるかもしれないが、簡潔に短い文書になるように心がけよう。
