"Hello, World! Hello, Tennis Fans!"

Introduction

Tennis is a beloved sport enjoyed by athletes and spectators worldwide. Watching top players in action is not only thrilling but also motivating, inspiring you to step onto the court and play. This blog is dedicated to helping those who aspire to improve their game and achieve more victories. Here, you'll find a wealth of small tips, including technical details and important mindsets that can be invaluable during matches. Regardless of your age or skill level, I am confident that I can enhance your tennis game.

About Myself

Hello, I'm TennisSup, a passionate tennis enthusiast with over a decade of experience playing, watching, and analyzing tennis. Currently, I serve as a tennis coach in London, where I provide tennis lessons to players of all ages while pursuing further studies. I hold a tennis coach license, specifically the LTA Level 1: Assistant certification, and have ambitious plans to acquire more qualifications in the future. My tennis journey has also included competing in junior tournaments across various countries, including Japan, Poland, and the UK.

The name "TennisSup" has a unique origin, with two distinct meanings. On one hand, it's a casual and familiar greeting to close friends, a bit like saying "What's up?" On the other hand, it represents a commitment to improving your tennis game, acting as your very own "Tennis Supplement." It's a name that's both fun and focused.

My Blog Posts

In my blog posts, English will be the primary language of communication because I feel most confident discussing tennis in English (although I can speak Japanese too). However, this choice also has benefits for a broader audience. Aspiring junior players often seek training opportunities abroad to enhance their skills and focus, and the "lingua franca" of international tennis is English. This means that the insights and knowledge shared in English on this blog can be invaluable for those pursuing a tennis career overseas.

Another reason I write in English is my keen interest in English education. As a Japanese myself, I must admit that English education in Japan has room for improvement. Therefore, I'm delighted to use my blogs as a platform not only to provide tips and advice on tennis competence but also as a means to further improve the English language proficiency of the viewers. This philosophy likely has its roots in my diverse background, having lived in various environments. But that's a story for another day, I suppose!
