Hi! I decided to write this article in the hope that my (ongoing) experiences with the very sensitive topic of gender selection might be of some help to others who are feeling the same way.

I have two boys myself. My husband and I both grew up with brothers and sisters, and I always wished that a girl would come to us!

In this article, I will write about our first attempt with Pink Jelly after our first son was born. I researched on the Internet that there are several methods of gender selection (for girls), such as pink jelly and artificial insemination (Percoll method), and decided to start with pink jelly, which was easy to try in terms of price. Retrospectively, I had no idea that it would take so much time to try various other methods for our gender selection attempt….!

As for the pink jelly, we used it in combination with the ovulation predictor test. I also drank cranberry juice and tried to be "light" during the act. The best timing is said to be two days before ovulation is predicted, but as it turned out, using pink jelly was almost the same timing as the day of ovulation. And our second child, a healthy boy, was born. I don't think it was just because the timing wasn't two days earlier, but also possibly because most of my husband's and my siblings' children are boys, so maybe we have a bit of a male pedigree.

In any case, both my first and second sons are growing up healthy and strong, and I am truly thankful every day for their births! On the other hand, I still wanted a girl and my husband felt the same way - and here starts our journey. I will try to describe it in detail in the next few articles!
