◎今やVision Zero政策は世界中で行われているが、その成果は国によって差があるようだ。車のスピードを抑えるだけでは不足していることは、理解されており、都市部での車への依存度を減らすための施策や、教育に力を入れているところもある。
◎ヨーロッパでは気候変動への影響の視点からも、従来の排ガスをだすような乗り物への依存度を下げる努力がされている。それを確実にするためには、経済的にもそのことが有利になるという意識が定着するようなしくみが必要なのだろう。
