◎エンニアたちは昆虫から多くのヒントを得ていた。チェーンソー、カタツムリ、あるいは痛くない注射針の開発など。日本ではコオロギの鳴き声をめでたり、行商で虫を売ったりしていた。

◎虫好きの主人公のおかげで、同僚には、日本人、みんなが昆虫好きのように思われてしまっている。。。欧米人は、スズムシうあカブトムシを家で飼ったりしないのかな？
