曾子曰、堂堂乎張也。難與並爲仁矣。

曾子曰(そうしいわ)く、堂堂(どうどう)たるかな張(ちょう)や。与(とも)に並(なら)びて仁(じん)を為(な)し難(がた)し。
現代語訳 16
曾先生が言われた。「堂々たるものだ、張の態度は。だが、いっしょに助け合って仁の道を歩むことは難しい」
英訳 16
The teacher Zeng was said, " It's imposing, Zhang attitude. However, it is difficult to walk on the road of perfect virtue with help each other together.”
