樹齢1500年以上と思われる栂・ツガの木

木はいろんなことを教えてくれます。

この木が、この形になるまでに広がる途方も無い時間。

どんどん元を辿ってゆくと宇宙が生まれるところまでに辿りつく。

この栂が立っている土ができるまでには、

いくつもの死があり、そこに生まれた生命たちが森を生きている。

空中も地中も満ち満ちている。

木から発せられるもの、吸収されるもの。

風、呼吸。調和。時空を超える。

屋久島に引っ越してくる直前、夢を見ました。
私の頭に孫悟空のような黒い輪っかがあり、ギュウギュウ締め付けて痛くて痛くて私は蹲っていました。
すると、それを誰かの手がすっと外してくれたんです。
とても楽になって、顔を上げ、
『ありがとうございます！お名前を聞かせてください』
と尋ねると
『ツガです』
と答えてくれたのでした。
起きてすぐ、ツガを調べ、樹の名前だと知りました。屋久島にたくさん生きているということも。

この栂の木は何度も描かせてもらっています。ありがとう。

森にも地球にも自分にも失礼にならないよう、描きました。

描かせてもらえてありがたい。

This tree is over 1500 years old

Trees teach us many things.

A tremendous amount of time for this tree to grow into this shape.

If I trace the origin more and more, I will reach the place where the universe is born.

By the time the soil on which this TSUGA tree stands is formed

There are many deaths, and the lives born there live in the forest.

The air and the ground are full.

What is emitted from the tree and what is absorbed.

Wind, breathing. Harmony. Beyond space-time.

I had a dream just before I moved to Yakushima.
There was a black ring like Son Goku on my head, and I was squeezing it and it hurts and hurts.
Then someone took it off.
It ’s so much easier, I look up,
"Thank you! Please tell me your name. "
When asked
"My name is Tsuga"
He answered.
As soon as I woke up, I looked up "Tsuga"and found out that it was the name of the tree. There are many  living on Yakushima.

I have drawn this Tsuga many times. Thank you.

I drew it so as not to be rude to the forest, the earth, and myself.
