5月28日（土）、茶詰めの儀を見てきました。この静岡の本山茶の儀式も徳川家康公と関わりがあります。会場で座った場所がちょうど市長の後ろでした。写真に写っている背中は田辺静岡市長です。

茶詰めの儀 パート1
According to a historical document, Tokugawa Ieyasu had the first picked tea of the year packed in pods to store in his special storehouse.
歴史書によると、徳川家康はその年の新茶を壺に入れ、独自の蔵に保管させたと言います。
It was located on the Dainichi mouintain Pass of Ikawa at an altitude of 1200 meters.
その蔵は標高1200メートルの大日峠にありました。

He loved matured green tea leaves and the pod was opened in autumn.
家康公は熟成された緑茶を好み、その壺は秋に封切られました。
The opening ceremony was held in Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, where the tea leaves were offered to the deities.
壺を開ける儀式が久能山東照宮で執り行われ、そのお茶は神様に奉納されました。
Finally, the tea was served in his special tea ceremony.
そしてようやくそのお茶は家康公の茶会で提供されました。
Even in the present day, the ceremonies to reproduce Lord Ieyasu’s tea style are held every year in Shizuoka City.
現在でも、家康公のお茶のスタイルを再現した儀式が毎年静岡市で開催されています。
This local green tea with a long history since Lord Ieyasu’s ruling period is called ‘Hon-yama Cha’ ,which means tea leaves cultivated on the mountainous areas along the Abe River.
家康公の治世以来の長い歴史を持つこの地元のお茶は「本山茶ほんやまちゃ」と呼ばれ、安倍川沿いの山の地域で収穫されたお茶を意味します。
This year marks the 40th anniversary of these series of ceremonies.
今年でこの一連の儀式は40回目を迎えます。
The first ceremony to pack the first picked tea of this year was held in the event venue near JR Shizuoka station last Saturday.
新茶を入れる最初の儀式がこの前の土曜日、JR静岡駅前の会場で行われました。
This ceremony is important to symbolize Shizuoka’s tea culture.
この儀式は静岡のお茶文化を象徴する重要なものです。
Not only Shizuoka City Mayor but also Shizuoka-elect parliament member attended the ceremony.
静岡市長でだけでなく、静岡選出の国会議員もこの儀式に出席していました。
