少年詩【ぼくは、今】

重い荷物しょって
歩道橋で立ち止まる
ふと　空を見あげて
橋の柵のさらに上まで
高いフェンスが
張られていることを知る

駅のホームで切符を買う
線路とぼくの間に
黄色の線が横たわり
頭上からアナウンスが流れる
おさがりください
通過電車が風になる

山のふもとで少し迷い
道とも呼べぬ道をいく
鳥が鳴き　花が歌う
山頂らしき岩に腰かける
崖の手前には　もう
フェンスはない
アナウンスは聞こえない

ぼくは、今
ナイを知り
ぼくは、今
ここに在ることを知った

Carrying a heavy load,
I stop on the pedestrian bridge.
Suddenly, I look up at the sky,
and realize that above the bridge railing
there's a higher fence stretched out.

Buying a ticket on the station platform,
a yellow line lies between the tracks and me.
Announcements flow from above,
"Please step back,"
as the passing train becomes a gust of wind.

A little lost at the foot of the mountain,
I follow a path that can hardly be called a road.
Birds chirp, flowers sing,
I sit on what seems like the summit's rock.
Here, near the cliff edge,
there is no more fence.
The announcements are no longer audible.

Now, I understand
the "now" moment,
and I realize
that I am here.
