We pray for a speedy recovery for all those affected by the coronavirus. I would also like to express my condolences to those who have passed away. We also send our thanks and cheers to all those who work on the front lines.

We hope that a society divided by the coronavirus will be able to reaffirm the value of each individual's existence and recognize each other again.
　
It's times like these that I thought it was necessary, and I'll be posting a message once a day from our Haute Route ambassadors.

この記事を書いているのはコロナ禍で様々な価値観が大きく変わった2020年、まもなく年の半分が過ぎようとしています。

年初時点で、このような世界になるとは誰も思っていなかったですよね。
欧州を中心に開催されるタフな市民サイクルレース「オートルート」も、軒並み中止の憂き目に。

でも。

自転車に乗って旅することが大好きな私たち。たとえバーチャルライドでも、近所のソロライドでも関係なく、ペダル一回転ごとに喜びを感じてしまうのではないでしょうか。

いまの我々に必要なのは、時間軸をすこしだけ変えて。

世の中の状況に柔軟にあわせて再びスタートすることなのかもしれません。

何度停まっても、まあ何度でもまたスタートすれば、よいのでは。気楽にペダル回しましょう^^
