My Xmas gift to myself was a good one. This is an album by the Magic Lanterns-released in 1969 (recorded the year before). It’s the first lp to feature Ozzy Osborne (credited as Mike ‘Oz’ Osborne on Bass Guitar!) before he was in Black Sabbath. John Paul Jones has arrangement credits on 3 songs on this lp. When I met Ozzy earlier this century, you were granted one question only. Mine was “Did you really play bass on that Magic Lanterns record”? He said No and volunteered that he thought JPJ may have played some of his parts-so there ya go. Merry Xmas!
