タイトル「ネット上の情報に信頼性はあるのか？」

Some reasons make this opinion unsupportable.

ネット上には情報が氾濫している。正しいものなのか？それとも間違っているものなのか？それを見極める能力が必要とされる。それは情報リテラシーと呼ばれる。
There are too much information on the Internet including both what is true and what is fake, which is the reason that we should have “information literacy” meaning the ability to distinguish what we might believe from what we mustn’t believe.

信頼できない情報がほとんどなのだろうと思われるのだが、ネットでしか得られない情報もたくさんある。大手メディアがテレビで放送できないようなものである。
Most articles on the Internet seem to be incredible, but there are much more information we can obtain only there, which major media tend to find it impossible to broadcast on TV.

２年前のこと、大手芸能事務所の故社長のスキャンダルに関わる内容はテレビ局にとってはセンシティブなことだった。真実はほとんど放送されなかった。
Two years ago, the contents about crimes that the late president of major entertainment agency with capable talents had committed sensual scandals were too sensitive for all the TV stations to broadcast, which was the reason that they didn’t make the fact open to the public.

テレビ局はその事務所に依存していた。そこに所属する芸能人を出演させて高視聴率を稼いでいた。しかし故社長のスキャンダルは他国のテレビ局によって暴露された。
All of the TV stations were absolutely dependent on this major entertainment corporation for gaining many profits by making popular idols perform on the stage or in the drama, which could make their audience rating much higher, but the TV station from overseas made the late president’s scandals exposed to the public in Japan.

日本でもフリーランスによる信頼できる告発はあった。だがネット上でのみのことだった。テレビでは得られない記事は、真実を知りたい人には刺激的だった。
There were many credible accusation exposed on the Internet by many freelancers, but they were made open only to the YouTube viewers.
Such articles ordinary citizens couldn’t watch on TV were  something stimulating for those who wanted to know the truth about the late criminal.

This reason makes the question titled above unfavorable.
