【in 2024】 Trip to Singapore 【Day 1】

In this page, I'd like to write my Singapore trip on the first day, and 
this trip is the one of my goals this year.

1. Check-in at Kansai Airport

8:00 am : Arrived at Kansai Airport
I used Vietnam airline. (Transfer to Ho Chi Minh)
I went to the check-in counter.

And then, I exchanged Japanese yen to Singapore dollars.
I didn't have a lot of cash, because I thought I would use my credit card.
However, I should have had cash more in case I could not use my credit card.

I didn't have any trouble during baggage inspection, so I was relieved.

2. Flight <KIX - SGN>

10:30 am : Departure at Kansai Airport

During the flight, I spent hours eating in-flight meal, sleeping, and watching monitor TV.
I felt time flied so quickly, because I slept well…

3. Transit <SGN - SIN>

14:15 : Arrival at Tansonnhat Internationa Airport in Vietnam
 
If I had enough time, I wanted to eat *Pho.

Time differences between Japan and Vietnam : 2 hours

I was worried about the transit because I visited Vietnam for the first time.
I went well smoothly.

BUT !!
The gate to Singapore changed 30 minutes before departure.
I was upset and a little bit panicked, but I could got on the airplane.

4.Arrival in Singapore

I submitted SG arrival card in advance, so I could enter Singapore smoothly.

I got on MRT train.
If we have a credit card featuring contactless payment, we can use this credit card, so we don't have to buy a train ticket.
I felt it was so convenient!

I transferred twice, I arrived at Brass Basah station.
The hotel I stayed was 3 minutes walk from this station.
I could arrive at the hotel without losing my way.

I checked in, and hotel staff offered me upgraded room.
I was so happy.

When entering my room, I felt tired and went to bed…
