Today, I'm going to talk about multitasking.
I mentioned it in my previous blog, it's multitasking, but it means that there are good sides and bad sides, right?
It shouldn't have been the best skill that everything can move efficiently and productivity increases.
There is a theory called magical number 7, and there are up to 7 memories that people can remember in the short term, but can you do 7 tasks at the same time? That's almost impossible, and it is said that the number of tasks that people can do multiple at the same time is about 2 to 3.
If you do more than that, it will actually be less efficient, and I know that it will be unproductive, that is, you will repeat mistakes over and over again.
In other words, "I can do it!" Even if you think so, in fact, from the perspective of people around you, "How many times have you done the same thing?" Or, "You've made the same mistake many times," or, "You haven't made progress since a while ago!" That's why people think of it.
If you actually try it, you'll understand it well.
For example, if you actually try how to divide three tasks one by one and how to do three at the same time, how long it took to finish all the tasks, and if you measure whether there were few mistakes, "Unsurprisingly It doesn't change," and the results come out.
Of course it's not everyone, really capable people can do multitasking and get rid of it.
So it's a bit of an aside, so I'll go back to the main topic, but this multitasking can actually be given by others, even if you don't do it yourself.
For example, those who are concurrently in positions or those who are concurrently in various roles are like that.
Such people, such as concurrently serving as the department manager of the 〇〇 department and the department manager of the ×× department, or concurrently serving the role of people who are familiar with human resources, accounting, and PCs, will receive specialized types of tasks at once.
I receive a consultation from Mr. A on the 〇〇 part, and from Mr. B, I receive a report from the ×× part.
In the same way, Mr. A consulted me about hiring new staff, Mr. B reported on expenses, and Mr. C contacted me to see it because the PC stopped working.
In other words, the former doubles the task at once by concurrently, and the latter triples.
Tasks don't come in at the same time every time, but the amount of work bounces up by 2 times and 3 times than doing it with a single.
You can't control this all by yourself, can you?
From the other party's point of view, the consulting partner will be a person who is also in charge.
There is no other way to bring counseling, so it's natural to get together.
