この度、AaP/roidworksgalleryでは2年ぶりとなる辰巳菜穂の個展『Blur』を開催致します。
Googleストリートビューの中で見つけた風景に、別の時間と場所を重ね合わせるように描く辰巳菜穂。
更新され、いつかは儚く消えてしまうデジタルの痕跡に、彼女の感性が一瞬の輝きを見つけキャンバスに封じ込めます。
今展のタイトル「Blur」は、ぼやけたもの、境界がない、はっきり見えないものを意味します。テクノロジーによって自身が知覚できる世界を押し広げ、その向こうに見えた風景を独自の感性と色彩で描く辰巳菜穂の世界を楽しみください。
AaP/roidworksgallery is holding "Blur," Nao Tatsumi's first solo exhibition in two years.
Nao Tatsumi paints as if she is superimposing a different time and place on scenery found in Google Street View.
Through her sensitivity, she discovers moments of brilliance in transient digital traces, which are updated and sooner or later disappear, and locks them up on her canvas.
"Blur," the title of this exhibition, means something blurred, something without borders that you cannot see clearly. Please enjoy the world of Nao Tatsumi, who expands her perceivable world because of technology and paints scenery she sees beyond that world with unique sensitivity and colors.
【ステートメント】
現代の私たちの周りにはテクノロジーによって従来の人間の身体能力を超えた無限の空間が広がっていて、デジタルとアナログ、情報と物質、擬似的体験と現実との間を行き来した時、これまで見たことのないような鮮やかで圧倒的な世界へ入り込むことができる。
プログラムに残された偶発的現象に美的価値や神秘性を見出し、そこに自分自身のエラーを重ね合わせて世界を描くことは、現代における創作の形として追い求める価値があると考え制作に取り組んでいる。
自分が知覚できる世界を押し拡げた向こう側にどんな風景が見えるのか。現実と仮想の境界を巡る旅の記録を楽しんでほしい。

[Statement]
When an infinite space has extended around us in the present age, transcending the usual physical abilities of people because of technology, and we come and go between digital and analog, information and material, and pseudo-experiences and reality, we will be able to enter a vibrant and overwhelming world that we have not seen so far.
Discovering aesthetic value and mystique in incidental phenomena left behind in programs and painting a world by superimposing my errors on the phenomena is something that I believe is worth pursuing as the format of creative works in the present age so I am working hard at creating such works.
What kind of scenery can you see beyond the expanded perceivable world? I want you to enjoy documents of a journey around the border between reality and imagination.
