neighborhood =近隣地域（近所）
neighbor =隣人（近所の人）

speak, talk =話す行為

・talk ＝お互い話あう

say, tell =話した内容

・say =「～と言う」
・tell =（まとめた内容）を伝える

・say =「言った内容」のそのまま
・tell =まとめた内容を簡潔に伝える

A. あなたのコンピューターのこと聴かせて。それは新しいの？
B. いいえ、違うよ。 それは古いよ。

＝「あなた、新しいコンピューターが欲しいの？」
※「買ってくれるの？」感があるのでチョット違う

=「あなたは新しいコンピューターを買うつもりですか？」

A. あなたの新しい上司のこと聞かせて。彼は若いですか？

っとすると、
「お店（店舗）が安いですか？」と思われる可能性があるの注意

B. No, he isn't. He's short.
A. お兄さんのことを聞かせて。（彼は）背が高いですか？
B. いいえ（彼は高くない）。 彼は背が低いです
Point
small ＝小さい（コンパクトな印象）
6. Tell me about your sister. / single? /No,
A. Tell me about your sister. Is she single?
B. No, she isn't. She's married.
A. アナタの姉さんのこと聞かせて。彼女は独身ですか？
B. いいえ、（してない）。彼女は結婚しているよ。
Point
「結婚している」なので過去形で
She was married. と思いそうだけど
＝彼女は離婚している（結婚していた）となるので注意
彼女は結婚していると伝えたい場合はwasではなくgatを使い
She gat married (last year). ＝彼女は(去年)結婚した
余談・・・
当初、スペルミスで
"married"を⇒"marred" と"i"を抜いていたけど、
意味が「傷ついた」になります ＾＾；
married から i がなくなると,傷つくと妙に納得しましたとさｗ
7. Tell me about Nancy's cat/ pretty? /No,
A. Tell me about Nancy's cat. Is it pretty?
B. No, it isn't. It's ugly.
A. ナンシーの猫のこと聞かせて。（猫は）可愛いですか？
B. いいえ、違うよ。 醜い（不細工）だよ。
Point
猫や犬などペットは、物ではないのに"it"扱い
しかし、やはり飼い主にとっては”it”印象は良くないので
会話の開始（事前）に”Is it he or she?”「これ、男の子？女子？」と聞くことで”she”か”he”で会話ができるようになる ＾＾ｂ
8. Tell me about Ron and Betty's dog. / little? /No,
A. Tell me about Ron and Betty's dog. Is it little?
B. No, it isn't. It's big.
A. ロンとベティの犬のこと聞かせ。小さい？
B. いいえ、（犬は）小さいよ
9. Tell me about the questions in your English book. / difficult? / No,
A. Tell me about the questions in your English book. Are they difficult?
B. No, they aren't. they are easy.
A. あなたの英語の本の問題について聞かせて。難しいですか
B. いいえ、（これらの問題は）簡単だよ。
10. Tell me about Santa claus / thin? / No,
A. Tell me about Santa claus. Is he thin?
B. No, he isn't. He is thick.
A. サンタクロースのこと聞かせて。彼は細いの？
B. いいえ、彼は太いよ
thin =細い thicik =太い
例文
Japanese noodles are two types.
There are thin noodle and thick noodle.
・thin noodle =そば
・thick noodle =うどん
want to / be goin to / should / may / must / shall を使った例文
A. Do you want to buy a new computer?
B. Yes, I am going to buy a computer.
A. You should buy a computer because your computer is old.
B. But my computer might(may) still work.
A. No, you can't uses your computer. Because it's not fast enough. You must buy a new computer.
B. Maybe, I should(shall) buy a computer.
