B: そう思わない。もしジョニーが今日学校に行くと、
彼は他の子供たちに風邪を移す(あげる)かもしれない

"Do you think" =「あなたはどう思う」
今回は
”Do you think ~” に対して答えているので
”No, I don't.” となっている ^^
別の答えで
”~should go to school today.” に対しての答えで
”No, he shouldn't .” でもOK
「今日ジョニーは学校行くべきだと思う?」に対しての答えなので
「思う?」に対して「思わない」
「行くべき?」に対して「行くべきではない」
どちらも正解 ^^
●Dialogue 1
Do you think I should put some more salt in the soup? / spoil it
A. Do you think I should put some more salt in the soup?
B. No, I don't. If you put some more salt in the soup,
you might spoil it.
A: スープにもう少し塩を加えるべきと思いますか?
B: 私思わない。 もしスープにもっと塩を加えると、
アナタはそれ(スープ)をダメにするかもしれない

"spoil" = 「ダメにする・甘やかす」
spoilを使った例文
"He is spoiled." =「彼は甘やかされた」
※”spoiled” だけでも「甘やかされた」となる
"Spoiler alert." =「ネタバレ注意」

A. Do you think I should skip English class today?
B. No, I don't. If you skip English class today,
you might miss something important.
A: 今日、私は英語のクラスを欠席(飛ば)すべきと思いますか?
B: いいえ、そう思わない。 もし、あなたが英語クラス欠席すると
あなたは大切な何かを見逃すかもしれない。

”something important” =「大切な何か」
日本語の言い方のままで"imortant something"と書きたくなるけど要注意
※英語は難しいことは後に回す性質がある言語
"someone important"を使った例文
"He is someone important to me." =「あたしにとって彼は重要人物です」

Do you think Rover should come to the beach with us? / get carsick
A. Do you think Rover should come to the beach with us?
B. No, I don't.
If he comes to the beach with us, he might get carsick.
A: ローバーは私たちとビーチへ来るべきと思いますか?
B: いいえ、思わない。
もし、彼が私たちと来たら彼はたぶん車酔いするだろう。

Do you think I should try to break up that fight? / get hurt
A. Do you think I should try to break up that fight?
B. No, I don't.
If you try to break up that fight. You might get hurt.
A: 私はその喧嘩を止めるべきと思いますか?
B: そう思わないな。
もし、あなたが喧嘩を止めたら あなたは、たぶん怪我をするだろう

break up = 別れる・分ける
人との関係なら「別れる」とも訳せるし
分けるなので喧嘩なら「止める」とも訳せる ^^

Do you think Mary should quit her job? / have trouble finding another one
A. Do you think Mary should quit her job?
B. No, I don't. If she quits her job,
she might have trouble finding another one.
A: マリーは仕事を辞めるべきと思いますか?
B: いいえ、思わないよ。 もし彼女が仕事を辞めたら
彼女は違う仕事を見つけるのに苦労するかもしれない

彼女は・おそらく苦労する・見つけることを・違う1つ(仕事)を

A. Do you think Teddy should stay up and watch TV with us.
B. No, I don't. If he stays up and watches TV with us,
he have trouble getting up in the morning.
A: テディーは私たちと寝ないでテレビを観るべきと思いますか?
B: いいや、思ない。 もし、私たちと彼が寝ないでテレビを観ていたら
彼は朝起きるのに苦労するだろう

"stay up" =「起きている」
"stay up"を使った例文
"I stayed up late last night." =「昨夜は遅くまで起きていました」
※ 私は起きていましたよアピール(笑
ちなみに・・・
"I couldn't sleep last night." =「昨夜は眠れませんでした。」
"I tossed and turned all night." =「眠れませんでした。」
※tossed and turned で「寝返り(ごろん♪ごろん♪)」
逆に・・・
"I slept like a log." =「ぐっすり寝ました。」
※”slept” =「寝た」
※"log" =「丸太」 = 丸太のように寝た?(笑)
"I slept soundly. " =「健やかに眠れました。」
※sound =「健やか」
●Dialogue 7
Do you think I should marry Norman? / regret it for rest of your life
A. Do you think I should marry Norman?
B. No, I don't.
If you marry Norman, you might regret it for the rest of your life.
A: ノーマンと結婚するべきと思いますか?
B: いいえ、思わない。 もし、あなたがノーマンと結婚したら
あなたの残りの人生すべて後悔することになるよ。
