英語で伝える物理療法(HVPC, IFC, ShockWave)

Electrical Currents (Contraindications & Precautions)
Before we begin treatment, let me ask you a few questions.
1. Do you have a history of heart problems? Or have you been treated for heart problems?
2. Have you ever had any sensation problems?
3. Have you ever had any problems with self-adhesive pads? For example, skin irritation?

High Voltage Pulsed Current (HVPC)
1. You have swelling around here, so I’m gonna apply the High Voltage Pulsed Current.
2. Now, I’ll put the electrodes and then I will increase the intensity depending on your tolerance level. I want you to feel a moderate tinging. Okay?
3. You can tolerate that? Good.
4. The treatment time is 20 minutes. If you need me to stop, please let me know.
5. How are you feeling right now? Good. I’m going to slowly remove the pads.

Interferential Current
1. You have pain around here, so I’m gonna apply the Interferential Current. What we’re trying to do with this is to reduce your pain and see if it affects your comfort. Okay?
2. Now, I’ll put the electrodes and then I will increase the intensity depending on your tolerance level. What you’re going to feel is some tingling and eventually a mix of tingling and muscle contraction. So let me know when you first begin to feel the tingling. Okay?
3. I’m watching for the muscle to be activated. Can you tolerate that? Good.
4. The treatment time is 10 minutes. If you feel uncomfortable, please let me know.
5. How are you feeling right now? Good. I’m going to slowly remove the pads.

Radial Shockwave Therapy or Soundwave Therapy (RSWT)
1. I’m gonna use shockwave therapy (or pressure wave therapy) for your treatment.
2. Shockwaves are also sound waves so it's similar with ultrasound waves; but it has around 1000 times higher pressure than ultrasound waves. This will increase blood flow to the area, metabolic activity in the area, and start the healing process.
3. Could you point to the place where you have pain? Is it here? Is this the most painful site? Okay I’m gonna draw on this area and this is where I’ll be delivering the sound pulses.
4. Next, I’m gonna apply a bit of ultrasound gel to the site where we’ll be doing the shockwave therapy, and we are ready to start.
5. Now, I’m gonna start to deliver the pulses. Sometimes the pressure can be a little sore. Please let me know if you feel strong pain. I’ll decrease the pressure. Any questions for me?
6. Are you ready? All right, here we go.
7. How do you feel? Any pain or discomfort when it was being done? A little bit of soreness is normal and you may get an odd feeling to it. That’s pretty normal experience.
