今回は、前回の「パールハーバーの欺瞞　アメリカ人が求めた真実⑴」でご紹介した書籍の中で明らかにされた真実に触れる寄稿をご紹介したいと思います。カリフォルニア州フェアフィールドにかつて存在したDaily Republic新聞社への衝撃的な寄稿です。

Dec. 7, 1941, was not a sneak attack by the Japanese. The attack on Pearl Harbor was secretly provoked, undoubtedly anticipated, ardently hoped for by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt who publicly condemned it. The infamy was his. He sacrificed 2,403 American lives just so the United States could justify entering World War II.

1941年12月7日の真珠湾攻撃は、日本人による奇襲ではなかった。真珠湾攻撃はフランクリン・デラノ・ルーズベルト大統領によって密かに挑発され、間違いなく予想され、熱烈に期待されたものであったが、彼は公にはそれを非難したのだ。彼が言った「不名誉」は他でもない彼のものだったのだ。彼は2,403人のアメリカ人の命を犠牲にし、それによりアメリカが第二次世界大戦に参戦することを正当化したのである。

Following orders, Adm. Husband E. Kimmel, fleet commander in Hawaii, pulled his fleet out of the North Pacific, which left the path wide open for the Japanese fleet, including aircraft carriers which were to attack our fleet at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

ハワイの艦隊司令官であったハズバンド・E・キンメル提督は命令を受け、北太平洋から艦隊を撤退させた。これにより、真珠湾攻撃を進めていた日本の艦隊はその空母も含め何の障害もなく容易にハワイへと進行することができたのだ。

The United States got word of the planned attack on Pearl Harbor in January 1941. 　　　　　(See below for the telegram record)    The U.S. continued to monitor Japanese communications, but did not actively attempt to prevent the attack on Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor was a sitting duck.

米国は1941年1月の時点で、日本の真珠湾攻撃計画を知っていたのだ。    (下記電報参照)                               米国は日本の通信を監視し続けたが、真珠湾攻撃を積極的に阻止しようとはしなかった。真珠湾は(米国によって)格好の標的にされていたのだ。

Maj. Gen. William Short was promoted to lieutenant general and given command of the U.S. Army troops in Hawaii. They would both live to regret those promotions. The slaughter was being carefully planned.

ウィリアム・ショート元帥は中将に昇進し、ハワイの米陸軍部隊の指揮を任された。キンメル、ショートは二人ともこの昇進を後悔しながら生きることになるだろう。自国民の虐殺は慎重に計画されていたのだ。

Telegraph from Tokyo

January 27. 1941
Ambassador Grew telegraphed from Tokyo:   "A member of the Embassy was told by my colleague that from many quarters, including a Japanese one, he had heard a surprise mass attack on Pearl Harbor was planned by the Japanese military forces, in case of `trouble' between Japan and the United States; that the attack would involve the use of all the Japanese military facilities. My colleague said that he was prompted to pass this on because it had come to him from many, sources, although the plan seemed fantastic."         Japan, Vol. II, p. 133.

東京からの電信

1941年1月27日
グロウ大使は東京から電報を送った。 "大使館員の一人が私の同僚から聞いた話では、日本軍を含む各方面から、日米間の『トラブル』に備えて、日本軍が真珠湾への奇襲大量攻撃を計画していると聞きました。私の同僚は、彼自身はそんな計画は絵空事だと思ったが、多くの情報源からそれを聞いたので、これは伝えなければと思ったそうです。
