(John 17:22) “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:”　
(ヨハネ 17:22) "あなたがわたしに与えてくださった栄光を、わたしは彼らに与え、わたしたちが一つであるように、彼らも一つとなるようにしました。"

A quick search of the word “glory” in the King James Version of the Bible shows that it appears in three hundred and seventy-one verses of the Bible.　
欽定訳聖書で「栄光」という言葉を検索してみると、聖書の371節に登場することがわかります。

This shows how important this word is in the Bible for not many words appear this way in the Scriptures.　
このことは、この言葉が聖書の中でいかに重要であるかを示しています。なぜなら、聖書の中でこのように登場する言葉はあまりないからです。

Not less than three different words were translated into the word “glory” in the Bible. One striking meaning of the word glory is dignity.　
聖書の中で、「栄光」という言葉には、3つ以上の異なる言葉が翻訳されています。栄光という言葉の印象的な意味の一つは、尊厳です。

With God’s glory on you and in you, dignity is restored unto you.　
神の栄光があなたの上に、あなたの中にあるとき、あなたに尊厳が回復されます。また、名誉も与えられます。

Honor is also granted to you. In Christ, you have a type of glory called the glory that excels (2 Corinthians 3:10).　
キリストにおいて、あなたは、卓越した栄光と呼ばれる種類の栄光を持っています（2コリント3：10）

This is one of the reasons why you should expect excellent things to come to you. Remember, the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Jesus) is the spirit of glory.　
これが、あなたに優れたものがもたらされることを期待すべき理由の一つです。

The day you made Jesus Christ your Lord was when He came to live in you with this excellent glory as professed by our Lord Jesus in our theme Scripture.　
聖霊（イエスの霊）は、栄光の霊であることを忘れないでください。あなたがイエス・キリストを主とした日は、主イエスがテーマ聖句で公言しているように、この優れた栄光を持ってあなたの中に住んでくださるようになった時なのです。

It is not enough to have this glory on your inside. It ought to come out.　
この栄光は、あなたの内側にあるのでは十分ではありません。この栄光は外に出てくるものでなければなりません。

One way of bringing this glory out is via prayer especially by speaking in tongues. Singing in the Holy Ghost, singing songs of praise and worship, and meditating and confessing the Word of God can all help to bring this glory on the outside.　
この栄光を引き出す一つの方法は、祈り、特に異言で話すことです。聖霊によって歌い、賛美と礼拝の歌を歌い、神の御言葉を黙想し告白することは、すべてこの栄光を外側に出すのに役立ちます。祈りに明け暮れ、異言を語ることです。

Spend time in prayer and speak in tongues. Declare that God’s glory which is in your spirit is welling up and covering every part of you. Hallelujah!　
あなたの霊の中にある神の栄光が湧き上がり、あなたのあらゆる部分を覆っていることを宣言してください。ハレルヤ！

Confession: I’ve got God’s glory in me. This glory is the glory that excels. This glory has brought dignity and honor into my life. This glory is not only in my spirit but on my body too. I am covered in His glory. Its glory everywhere. Hallelujah!　
告白してください。私は自分の中に神の栄光を持っています。この栄光は、卓越した栄光です。この栄光は、私の人生に尊厳と誉れをもたらしてくれました。この栄光は私の霊魂だけでなく、私の体にもあります。私は主の栄光に覆われている。その栄光は至る所にある。ハレルヤ！

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.　
もしあなたが一度も生まれ変わったことがないのなら、こう言ってください。私は今日から、イエス・キリストが私の主であり、神が彼を死者の中からよみがえらせたことを信じると宣言します。
