English Go lesson#11 ディクテーション

世界のどこかに囲碁カフェをつくるには、
英語が必要！！と考え、毎日英語のレッスンをしています。

今日は囲碁の英語の動画を見てディクテーションをする3回目。

とにかくいかに聞き取れていないかということがわかります。
ディクテーションのいいところは、自分の英語力を過信しなくて済むのと、
練習しているうちに少しずつ聞き取れること。

今日のパート

Allowing captures like this would create an endless back and force.

Unlike chess, where multiple repetitions is one way to force a draw Go's ko rule disallows  players from replicating previous positions.

最後の文章は全く持って聞き取れなかった。。

becauseよりもカジュアルで、友達との会話に使える。
例：Given that I don't eat meat, I don't want to go to a yakiniku restaurant.
Given that I have own cafe, I can't go out on weekend.

・back-and-force　行ったりきたり
例：They are having a back-and-force.
They are going back and force.
