カフェと囲碁ひだまりのMayuです。

世界のどこかに囲碁カフェを作る！

という夢の実現のため、毎日英語を勉強しています。
今日は石の動きについて。

今日わかった課題：
article(冠詞）が弱い
前置詞（preposition)が弱い

1.Black played on the Tengen.
I placed a black stone on the Tengen.
→playの時は目的語はいらないけれど、
placeを使う時はかならずそのあとに目的語が必要となる。

Why did you play Tengen?
I played Tengen because I don't want to play a stone the same way as other players.

2.White played on the upper left star point.
→theを忘れないこと

3.Black jumped out from the center.
Black played this stone one(a) space away from the white stone(my other stone).

4.White has placed a stone on the lower right star point.
White played a stone on the right star point.

5.Black played Keima here.
Black has played on 3D.
→ゲームは現在も進行中のため、現在進行形を使うのもよい

6.White played one space away from 3G.

7.Black has placed a stone on the upper right star point.

8.White has played on 8F.

9.Black extends.
Black has extended.
Black has attached to the white stone.
「ツケる」ことをattachedと表現する。

10.White has played diagonally from 8F.
斜めに移動した場合は、diagonally

11.Black attached here.

12. White has connected this group.
White has connected with 7E and 8F.

13.This black group is trying to connect.

14.White cuts the black stones.
→切ろうとしているときはcuts。
これが実際に切った場合は、cut offとなる。cutだけでは切る手前という表現になる。

15.Black has connected these two groups.

16.White has attached at 3E.
White hits black at 3E.

17.Black hanes at 2E.
Black plays the hane at 2E.

1つ目の答え方はカジュアルで、ハネを動詞として使う。
このように名詞を動詞として使うなどの用法はカジュアルなシチュエーションで多くみられる。

変わって2つ目のような言い方は、
オフィシャルな解説会など（alpha goとか）で使用される言い回し。

今日もたくさん勉強になりました。
前置詞と冠詞に課題が多くあるので、自分でも自習して力をつけたい。
