2019年9月はスペシャル月間として2回開催した『英語ニュースを読む』講座。両日とも気候変動をテーマに、アメリカ、フィリピン、ブラジルのニュースを取り上げました。

ニュースを読みつつ様々な話で盛り上がるのが、このレッスンの面白いところ。今回も、気候変動に関する日本と海外のニュース報道の温度差、"Climate Justice" という言葉の概念、個人レベルでできること～企業・政府レベルで取り組むべきこと、自然と断絶された生活の弊害…などなど、参加者同士いろいろ共有しました。
