宮島達男『Counting』（#雑レポート）

AKIO NAGASAWA GALLERY GINZAで開催中の宮島達男『Counting』

宮島達男氏は、1957年東京都生まれのアーティストで、

ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレの若手作家部門「アペルト」（1988）で注目を浴びて以来、世界的に有名なアーティストです。

先日、現代美術館でデジタルカウンターの作品を見ましたが、やはり凄かったです。

今回の『Counting』は、タイトルからして宮島氏っていう感じがしますが、1から9までの数字の明滅によって、人間が生まれて死に、再生するまでの時間や人間のライフサイクルを表現しているそう。

壁に穴を開けている映像作品は「Counter Voice」シリーズの最新作で、2020年末に閉館する原美術館の中庭で行ったパフォーマンスを記録したもの。

宮島氏の作品は色味がとても綺麗。

なんだその感想って感じですが、どんなに哲学的思想的でもファーストインプレッションの綺麗さを感じられなければ、それ以上、深く掘り下げられることもなく、表面だけ見て「なんだこれ」で終わってしまいます。

Miyajima's work is very beautiful in color.
