Softubeのプラグインのほとんどは、過去にあった実機をモデリングするというコンセプトで作られている。70年代80年代に活躍したアナログシンセは、時代の音を奏でて来た。MINI moog, Prophet-5, JUNO-106など、あの曲のあの音といったように記憶されている。ソフトシンセは、実機を使う手間も省け、セッティングもDAWと一体化して楽である。しかし、PCには強靭なパフォーマンスを要求される。Model72,80,82,84などは音の良さと引き換えに負荷は激しい。モデリングではないが、新しいシンセにwaldorf largo2がある。極めて定負荷で優秀である。問題点は、ライブラリーの扱いが特殊で分かりにくい。この曲では、シーケンスにSoftube Model 84、ベース音にlargo2を使用。明るいコードの音は、Arturia CZ Vである。淡白なドラムの音はJV-1080。
