#OPUS ロゴの意味

先日推し活してる #OPUS のTシャツを購入したんですが、このロゴ、結構深い意味があるそうで、こちらにも。

妻にこのロゴどういう意味？って聞かれたので、東京ベースのcity popだから佃島のタワマンかな？とテキトーに返事したんですね。OPUSのページのカバー写真の背景がまさに佃島のタワマンなので。https://twitter.com/opus_citypop

そしたら、ファン友達にもっと深い話を教えてもらいました。ボーカルのSaki (#下町の夏 ）さんが描いたそうですが、モチーフが結成の五人の担当がキーボード（佐々木毬奈）、ベース（キャッシー柏木俊哉）、ドラム（金本聖潤）、エレキ（奥脇）、そしてボーカルのSAKIさん、それぞれの楽器とマイクのグリルポールを現しているそうです。へえ、タワマンの窓のようでよく見ると楽器ですね。特にドラム。

最近メンバーのことも相当知るようになって、もっとお笑い系要素が相当入っていることがわかってその方向でもファンですが、最初は OPUSのMV キーボードのサックスが斬新で引き込まれて、ボーカルの #下町ノ夏 さんの声にノックアウトされ、最後にこのロゴが出てくるという流れ。

ホント、ミステリアスな高級感を醸し出している印象を受けたんですよね。なので、海外で結構受けるだろうと思ったら割と海外のファンが多くて、YouTubeライブでも外国からのコメントが多いです。実際サックスをエレクトーンで弾くとこんなに綺麗にはなかなかならないそうで、流石毬奈さん、エレクトーン歴25年、国立音大のジャズ科卒だけありますね。

I Add a bit of a deeper story about the #OPUS t-shirt I mentioned in the story.

My wife asked me what this logo means. I replied "Tokyo-based city pop," so I thought it might be a Tower-Mansions on Tsukuda Island in Tokyo.

Then one of my friends of OPUS kindly told me a more in-depth story. Actually, the five members in charge of the formation were Marina Sasaki (keyboard), Toshiya Kashiwagi (base), Seijun Kanemoto (drums),  Okuwaki (electric), and Saki(vocalist) drew the picture to represent their instruments.  It looks like a window of a townhouse, but it actually represents their instruments.

I've recently gotten to know the members and found out that there are  more comedic elements among them. At first, the OPUS MV begins keyboard saxophone which is so novel, then I was knocked out by the voice of the vocalist Saki, and finally, this logo appeas in the end. These style seems quite mysterious with a sense of luxury. So OPUS could be quite popular overseas.
