英語日記＃1221（ランドセル）

日本語編

来年小学一年生になる娘。ランドセルのこだわりがありそうなので、早めに購入しようか悩んでいます。息子は全くランドセルに興味が無かったので入学式の一ヶ月前に買いました。兄弟でも全然違いますね。

英語編

My daughter will be starting first grade next year. Since she seems to have specific preferences about her school bag, I'm considering buying it early. My son wasn't interested in his school bag at all, so we bought it a month before the school entrance ceremony. It's amazing how different siblings can be.

※文の「It's amazing how different siblings can be.」における "how" は、「どれほど」「どんなに」という意味で使われている。
