What the Atmosphere Creates

I've been practicing yoga for five years now.

During Covid, I used to do it with YouTube, but I started slacking off, so I decided to return to a yoga studio.

A new instructor conducted today's lesson, and she seemed somewhat anxious. She often stammered, and I could see her nervousness.

I was a bit worried that today's class would be okay. I understand her situation; speaking in front of about thirty students I don’t know can be challenging.

I looked around and saw the other students smiling and nodding their heads, showing empathy with what she was trying to say, giving off a kind atmosphere like "Don’t worry. We understand what you’re trying to say! ”

Then, the instructor suddenly showed her potential ability in the middle of the lesson!

In a relaxing studio mood, her instruction became smoother, and she also carefully explained how to breathe and use our muscles. Her words felt like they were absorbing into my body, so I learned how to use my muscles correctly.

After the class, I felt an indescribable sense of exhilaration and satisfaction.

She is just a new instructor. After taking her lesson, I see entirely that she is sincerely devoted to yoga, and her passion for yoga is genuine.

I also want to mention the other students. They were trying to create a positive atmosphere to the extent that I felt embarrassed about feeling uneasy at the beginning of the class.

The energy from both the instructor and students created a perfect atmosphere.

Because students are paying for the lessons, they tend to demand a certain level of service. But if we really want something good, we should cooperate with the management and show our acceptance.

Maybe, it’s not the case for yoga.

If people can see how sincere you are about your work, they will support you, and you will support each other and grow together. What I experienced today at the yoga studio encouraged me, and I learned how to handle my work.
