「〜しに行く」・・という言い方は気をつけましょう！
楽しいことをしに行く場合
go shopping,   go fishing,    
go camping,     go hiking,    
go swimming,     go drinking

仕事のようにやらなくてはならないことをしに行く場合
go to work,      go to study,   
go to fish.      go to purchase,  
go to repair     go to consult

もう一つ上のレベルで・・
I go shopping to the mall.  ✖　
➡  I go shopping at the mall. 〇
※ go  なので  to 場所 と考えがちですが・・間違い　　
in, at, on  などを使います。
I go hiking to Mt. Fuji. ✖　
➡ I go hiking on Mt.Fuji.〇

更にもう一つ上のレベルに・・
I go drinking. 〇 　
I go drinking at beer garden. 〇
I go drinking some beer.   ✖　
➡　I go drink some beer. 〇
※ go ~ing  の文では目的語を置くことができません。　
go 動詞原形＋目的語となります
I go and drink some beer.  の and の省略です。
