みなさん、こんにちは。Mizuhoです。
はい、え〜と今日はですね、いつもとはちょっと違ったタイプのpodcastをお届けしようと思っています。今日なんですけど、今日は、私と私の友達が喋っている音声ををそのままお届けしようと思っています。はい、今日はおしゃべり会です。
本当に自然な日本語のおしゃべりなのでもしかしたら難しく感じるかもしれませんが、是非その時はね、スクリプトを見ながら聞いてみてくださいね。
え〜、最後にこのおしゃべりに関するクイズも出しますので是非考えてみてください。

まずですね、今回podcastに出演をしてくれた友達は、私の高校時代の友人です。
彼女は元々保育士・幼稚園教諭をしていましたが、現在自分でリトミック等の教室を開いて、幼児教育をおこなっている友達です。
高校時代はですね、私たち、実は陸上部に所属をして、勉強より何よりですね、部活に青春をささげていたんですね〜。で、今回の話題はその私たちの高校時代の話から、入学試験そして入学後に準備をした靴・上履きの話をしています。
さぁ、それでは、皆さんどのぐらい聞き取れますか〜？是非楽しみながら聞いてみてください。それでは、どうぞ。

M）あのさ、受験、受験は推薦だったでしょ？
F）推薦。
M)推薦だったよね。スポーツ推薦？
F）スポーツ推薦。みずほちゃんも、スポーツ推薦だっけ？
M)違う違う。私、普通に受験したよ、ちゃんと。そんなだって、だって、そんな実績ないもの〜。
F）や〜みんな頑張ってたよね。本当、部活。家、も、家かなっ思ってたもん。部室が。

M）部室がね。本当だよね。だってさ、朝行ってさ、教室入る前に部室行ってさ、みたいな感じだったよね。一番最初に部室行って、荷物置いて、朝練する時はするけど、しない時はそこの部室にいる誰かと喋って。
F)そうそうそうそう。しゃべって。あの、で、あの〜トイレのスリッパみたいな。
M)赤いやつね。

F)私ねあれね、最初、上履きだと、上履きじゃなくて、まさかスリッパだと思ってなくて。結構衝撃だったんだよね。
M)え、まってまって、え？上履きじゃなかったよね。あのスリッパだけだよね。
F)うんうんうんうん、そうそうそうそう。私ね、今でも覚えてるのが、なんだっけ、入学その準備品とかのさ、買いに行くじゃん。親と行ったのかな。多分説明会とかきっと、そういうのがあってさ、行って。で、なんかその自分のスリッパ、学年ごとに色違ってたじゃんあれ。
M)そうだっけ？
F)私たち小豆色で。
M)あずきいろ〜〜。だったよね。赤いやつ、
F）赤は赤でも、小豆色でさ。
M)緑と青っけ？
F)そう、緑と青。そんで私ね、確認してくださいとかサイズ合わせとかあったと思うんだけど、私さ、なんかね、言いに行ったの覚えてる。その時の係の人に。なんか、「すいません、なんか、このトイレのスリッパ入ってるんですけどって。」
M)トイレのスリッパって言っちゃったの？
F)でも、そうそう上履きとかのシューズだと思ってたの、体育館シューズもあったじゃない？
M）あったね〜。

F)そうだから、普通の体育館シューズが通常の上履きだとばっかり思ってて、いやなんか、これ間違ってますよね？みたいな感じで言いに行ったことがあって。そしたら、なんか、いや、間違ってないんですって。衝撃だったんだよね。えぇ〜これが？？
M)確かにでもそうだよね〜。

F)でも今思うと足に全く良くないよね。
M)ちょっとなんかこう、高さがあってね。あれ、高さなかったけ？ちょっと高さあったよね？高さがあって、ちょっと壊れやすいんだよね。ぱかぱかしちゃうんだよね。端のところが。
F)今思うとさ、なんでアレだったんだろう。
M)わかんない。だからさ、3年生の最後の方とかさ、もう切れてたもんね。なんか、ちょっと半分壊れたやつなんかみんな履いてなかった？落書きしたやつとかさ。すごかったよね。

M)楽しかったよね。でもね。
F）楽しかったよね。そうそうそうそう。だから、受験はね、ちょっと、スポーツ推薦だったから。
M)なんかやるの？スポーツ推薦ってさ、なんかやった？普通はさ、テスト受けんじゃん、５教科。面接とかやった？
F)面接あったような。テストが本当なくって、なんか作文みたいな、そんなようなのは。論文じゃないけど、なんつったらいいの。そんなようなもの。
M)小論文？
F)小論文のようなものがあったような気がすんだけど。。でも、全くもって覚えてないよね。フフフフ。

はい、皆さん大体理解できましたか〜？
ちょっと早かったですかね？ここで少し、クイズをだしますね。
まず、私たちは日本の東北地方の出身ですので、すこし東北地方のイントネーションになっているところもあります。でも、大体は標準的な日本語をはなしていたかな？と思います。

Hello everyone, this is Mizuho. Today, I would like to deliver a slightly different type of podcast from usual. Today, I am going to present a conversation between me and my friend without any scripted content. Yes, today is a chat session. It may be challenging to follow along since it is a very natural Japanese conversation, but please feel free to refer to the script while listening. Oh, and at the end, I will also give you a quiz related to this conversation, so please try to think about it.

First of all, my friend who appeared on this podcast is my friend from high school. She used to work as a nursery school teacher, but now she has opened her own classes for early childhood education such as rhythmics. In high school, we actually belonged to the track and field team and devoted ourselves to sports more than studying. The topic of our conversation this time is about our high school days, from the entrance exams to the preparation of shoes and indoor slippers after entering school. Now, how much can you catch from our conversation? Please listen and enjoy. That's all for now.

M: Hey, so you took the entrance exam through a recommendation, right?
F: Yes, a recommendation.
M: It was a sports recommendation, right?
F: Yes, a sports recommendation. You are also on a sports recommendation? M: No, no, I took the exam normally. I didn't have any special achievements or anything like that.
F: Yeah, everyone worked really hard, especially in the club activities. I remember thinking about going to the club room even on weekends.
M: Yeah, the club room. It was like we would go there in the morning before entering the classroom, leave our bags there, and chat with someone who was there when we didn't have morning practice.
F: Yeah, that's right. We would talk to each other. And those slipper-like shoes in the bathroom.
M: The red ones, right?
F: Yeah, those. At first, I didn't realize they were not the regular shoes, but the slippers. It was quite a shock.
M: Wait, what? They weren't the regular shoes? It was just the slipper, right? F: Yeah, yeah, that's right. I still remember going to buy all the necessary items for school, like during the orientation or something with my parents. And, you know, each grade had different colored slippers.
M: Really?
F: Yeah, I think so. And ours were adzuki bean color.
M: Adzuki bean color. I remember now. The other colors were green and blue, right?
F: Yes, that's right. And I think there was a sizing or confirmation thing we had to do, and I remember going up to the person in charge at the time and saying, "Excuse me, but these bathroom slippers are in here."
M: You said bathroom slippers?
F: Yeah, but I thought they were the regular shoes, like for the gym as well.
M: Oh, right.

F) So, I used to think that regular gym shoes were just normal indoor shoes, but I went to ask someone about it, like, "Wait, isn't this wrong?" And they told me, "No, it's not wrong." It was a shock, you know? Like, really?
M) Yeah, but when I think about it now, they're really not good for your feet.
F) Yeah, they had a bit of height to them, right? They weren't completely flat. They had some height and were a bit fragile. They would crack at the edges.
M) Yeah, by the end of our third year, they were all torn apart. Everyone was wearing the ones that were half-broken or vandalized. It was crazy.
M) It was fun though.

F) It was. But anyway, for the entrance exam, I got a sports recommendation.
M) What did you have to do for that? For sports recommendation, don't you usually have to take tests for all five subjects instead of just the interview?
F) I think there was an interview, but there were no actual tests. We had to write some sort of essay or paper, but I don't really remember.

Alright, did everyone understand that? Was it a bit fast? Here's a quiz for you. Since we're from the Tohoku region of Japan, we might have a bit of a Tohoku intonation, but I think we mostly spoke standard Japanese.
