Ukulele GS / ウクレレGS

Hello there.
This is a picture diary of
the oldies duo (Guitar & Vocal) 'The Mints'.

The mints のピクチャーダイアリーです。

There are two possible combinations of electric guitar and ukulele in an ensemble.
1. ukulele plays solo and guitar accompanies
2. guitar plays solo and ukulele accompanies
To begin with, the ukulele is a small stringed instrument used to strum chords and sing songs.
Recently, however, the ukulele has evolved to play melodies in many cases.
The ukulele is used to play Group Sounds (GS), which dominated the Japanese music scene in the late 1960s.
How would it sound with an electric guitar and ukulele?

エレキギターとウクレレで合奏する場合、2つの組み合わせが考えられる。
１．ウクレレがソロを弾き、ギターが伴奏
２．ギターがソロを弾き、ウクレレが伴奏
そもそも、ウクレレはコードをかき鳴らしながら歌を歌うための小さな弦楽器だ。
でも最近は、ウクレレが進化してメロディを彈く場合も多い。
日本の60年代末に一世風靡したグループサウンズ（GS）を演奏する。
エレキギターとウクレレでどのような響きになるだろうか。
