My car drinks carrot juice, not gasoline. 

Let me explain...
ご説明します。。。

My car’s name is ‘Lapin’. It means rabbit in French.
車の名前はラパンです。フランス語でうさぎと言う意味です。

The logo is a rabbit. Many Japanese people don’t know this.
ロゴはうさぎです。大勢の日本人は知らないです。

There is a small version of my car on the dashboard. (hand-made, made of wood)
小さいバージョンのラパンがダッシュボードの上にあります。（ハンドメイド、木製）

It is a ‘curve detector’. Here, near the ocean the roads are curvy.
カーブを検知します。ここの海沿いの道はカーブが多いです。

The little wood car goes back and forth on the air vent. The size of the wheel of the wood car is the same size as the air vent line.
この小さい木の車は通気口の上を行ったり来たりします。この木の車のタイヤは通気口の溝と同じサイズです。

Also, there is a felt bunny hanging from the rear view mirror, a gift I received.
また、バックミラーにはフェルトのうさぎがぶら下がっています, ギフトでもらいました。

Lapin is a K (light) car so it has a hard time going up hills. I live on a steep hill.
ラパンは軽なので、坂を登るのが大変です。私は急な坂の上に住んでいます。

The official color is ‘sherbert orange’. It is a bit sparkly.
正式な色の名前は「シャーベットオレンジ」です。少しキラキラしすぎです。

I call the color ‘sunburned peach’.
私はこの色を日焼けももと言います。

I like the snack box. The official name is ‘tissue box’. I put candies in it and give them to the toll booth workers.
スナックボックスが好きです。正式な名前は「ティッシュボックス」です。私はその中にキャンディーを入れて、料金所の人にあげます。

When I travel on the highway, I always bring my ‘monk bear’ with me.
高速で旅行するとき、いつもお坊クマを連れて行きます。

He’s scared of tunnels.
彼はトンネルが怖いです。

I wrote a postcard to the executives at Suzuki to thank them for making Lapin.
私はスズキの役員にラパンを作ってくれてありがとうと伝えるハガキを書きました。

They didn’t reply.
返事はありませんでした。

I didn’t include my address.
住所を書いてなかった。
