Bob Dylan が東京公演2日目に Grateful Dead の曲 'Truckin' ' を初めてライヴでやった。
残りの日本公演でもまたやるかもしれないので、ハンター作の詩を見ておく。詩形と注のみ。歌詞のソースは Grateful Dead の 公式サイト 。詩として最低限の校訂を施してある。

aaab. me / see / me と been は母音韻をなすので、aaaa としてもよい。
注
1 lights 太陽のような（変わらぬ）光とも取れるが、アーティストとしては舞台の「脚光」をさすのだろう。どちらにしても善い時も悪い時もあった長い人生の旅路（a long strange trip）(4) の回想に関る。なお、この1行を書いたのはハンターでなくバンド（Grateful Dead）のほうだとハンター自身が言っている（Bob Shannon, 'Behind the Hits', Warner, 1986）。
4 What a long strange trip it's been これの頭文字語 'WALSTIB' は直ちに Deadheads を指すと言われるほど有名な句 。これをそのまま用いた本が数冊ある。
