Hi, I'm from Japan to see JESUS JONES
not international, not bright, not so young woman has been in the UK alone.
"deepL" is my friend! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
My 2023 was a year of surprises
In 2023, I never imagined that I would have so many opportunities to see JESUS JONES during the past year, but in addition to the three shows in Tokyo, I saw two shows in London and Milton Keynes in December, which were scheduled before I knew he was coming to Japan. That means I saw five shows in total. Wow, that's extravagant! From a Japanese point of view,"The Bon Festival and the end of the year came at once"!
By the way, I had a strange feeling about them until I met them.
How long will they use the PR-photo from back then? Even though a lot of time has passed.
But when I actually met them, I understood.
They are still as powerful and give an overwhelming live performance as they did back then.
So there is nothing wrong with using old photos!😁
All the performances were amazing, and I thought I'd write them down in NOTE to remember them, as they would just drift away if I just tweeted about them on X (Twitter), Christmas 2023. (I don't know when I'll be able to publish it.) I'm over 50 now, so "Go when you can!" I would like to advocate that.
I look forward to one day being able to go to a JESUS JONES concert with my daughter. (maybe in 10 years time!?!)
JESUS JONES' shows in 2023.
As far as I have observed, the end-of-year schedule seems to include a lot of shows in London. If the end of the year is London in the future, I would like to go there every year as a year-end party. ...... However, due to high fuel costs, Bullet Europe is costly.
* I have been there. The link also includes photos.

The following is a little reminiscence
In 2020, I suddenly remembered them.
Was I always a core, maniacal fan?
Not really, to tell the truth.
Indeed, as a teenager I listened to them every day and was moved by them, and I made a point of getting magazines that featured them.
The only time I saw them perform in Japan was on their 1994 W headline tour with HOTEI (Nippon Budokan).
Optimistic predictions when you are young often don't come true, but at the time I imagined that since They ware so popular, they would come to Japan many more times in the future.
I finished my school life at the age of "Already"'s launch in 1997. By the time I graduated from university, there wasn't much news of them, and I was out of rock for a while, having been introduced to a strain of club music typified by Underworld or Chemical brothers. At that time I was taking part in "Tidyweekender" as a VJ and going to the festivals and rave parties in Europe.
It had been a long time, and even when they came to Japan for Sonic Mania in 2004, I thought that they would come back again, soon on their own.
I found out later that they came to Akasaka BLITZ in the summer of 2011.
2011 was a terrible year for Japan because of the earthquake and tsunami. I couldn't make it, but I'm so grateful to them for coming to Japan in such a situation.
It was like that, and I don't know why I remember them.
They were reminded of the 2020 ski season.
When I talked to my husband in a light-hearted way about what should be done with my daughter's English education, it suddenly brought back memories of my own university days. I had submitted my English homework with a copy of the 'doubt' booklet and got credit for it. In other words, JESUS JONES played a role in my graduation😳.
When I Googled JESUS JONES at the ski resort, my joy exploded when I discovered that it was still in active😃😃😃😃😃😃.
It's almost a miracle that thinking about teaching English at a ski resort leads to JESUS JONES.
The days after remembering
I first resurrected my X account when I found out that the people who had enthralled me as a teenager were still active.
A Twitter Listening Party was also held at the right time, and early in the morning Japan time, I opened DeepL on my PC, sat upright and waited.
It was a moment when I suddenly saw something I could 'get into', when I was just busy with work and childcare😁.
I've been tweeted about JESUS JONES creepily on X since then, and I've been officially endorsed thankfully, London, London, London in the spring of '21, I was making a lot of noise, so it's been over two years.
*I gave up on coming to the UK in 21 and 22 due to the COVID disaster and work commitments.
I was able to get the four Deluxe Edition brothers that I really wanted to get, and these liner notes are emo and good.
Iain, you're a good writer.
The Special Edition "PERVERSE" includes the only glimpse of the Budokan concert I attended.
I don't know why I ordered two identical ones, but adults don't mind this sort of thing.
What fills the absence of memory....

Dear Pop Star
I collected replies from pop stars (or something like that) Here you can find Mike Edwards' reply.
The archives I have.
Mainly Japanese music magazines.
The article will be reduced in size in view of copyright considerations.
I would be happy to donate to the JESUS JONES Museum when it is built.
I don't like to think of myself as a nostalgist, but it is tasteful to see it as evidence that I had input as a teenager and set myself on on a designer's career.
