Milton Keynes?

Having only been to festivals in London and Wales, I first looked up Milton Keynes, but the accommodation in the area was almost fully booked.
I thought JESUS JONES Oh no, the accommodation in the city is fully booked.
Therefore, I booked accommodation near Milton Keynes Central.
The only transport links are by bus.

The all-glass station building is very beautiful, reflecting the empty countryside sky, and with the help of GoogleMap I make our way to our accommodation.

No one is walking, the wind is strong, the only light in my eyes are the headlights and tail lights of cars, and there are no people around, so you walk along while singing Miyuki Nakajima's 'Headlight Taillight' with great enthusiasm.

to the venue!!!

Search for a bus to the venue. Waiting for the bus again, alone in the dark. I get on the bus without incident, but you know what? There are no internal announcements, and it's too dark to check the name of the bus stop from inside the bus, so I'm tracking my current position on Google Maps and thinking, "Five more stops to go...".

Cute venue!

I arrived nervously in the cold and ordered a warm latte first.
Stamp your hand when entering the main stage. Staff say, "Old style, isn't it?"

I was the first to finish shopping for myself and my Japanese fans at the merchandising area at the back of the main stage.

I bought the 35th anniversary T-shirt thinking, "Oh no, isn't this trimming and design too young? I bought it thinking "I haven't worn this kind of T-shirt for a long time - I must be in my twenties at the very least", but when I tried it on I realised that I was totally in love with it and I was amazed that JESUS JONES could make such cute T-shirts.

The bottom is a parachute trousers from Yohji Yamamoto's second line. I love them because they have lots of long ribbons and look like 90s raver trousers.

I think they have the characters and logo that Stylorouge designed as an asset so they can develop the merchandise, and that's a very good deal from a rights point of view.
Even after 35 years, it really lives on as an iconic eye-catcher for the band.
I also read an interview about Stylorouge's logo design, and it seems that when they were creating the logo, they were asked to "make it a bit more savage", which led to the current logo. That's a really good "right" decision. Too competent.

Personally, I like the fact that 'JESUS' is in serif font and 'JONES' is combined in sans serif font, which is cool. I also love that character-like thing, I don't remember if he had a name, and his evil-looking face. Yes, when I was a teenager, I looked at the jackets and thought "I want to work in design when I grow up". So, not only the music, but also the design side of the band influenced me afterwards, it's a big deal.

The story of the Jesus Jones logo - Q Magazine
When Rob O'Connor of Stylorouge was asked to design a logo for Jesus Jones their mix of rock and dance styles was so new that there were few precedents to define the visual approach. "The nearest would have been Pop Will Eat Itself but, while we wanted to tap into the 'techno-anarchy' thing, we didn't want to look like them," points out O'Connor. "We put forward a lot of techno-type ideas which the record company liked but they said they weren't barbaric enough. It was that one word, barbaric, which put us on the right track."
The finished logo, used on all three Jesus Jones albums, was an old woodblock typeface, deliberately hashed around to create the double images.

Special guest1:Chemical Minds

He is wearing a well-fitted Fred Perry polo shirt, and I'm already feeling like a Brit, what should I do, I want to write some more impressions but my memory has already overwritten them, oh no! But I enjoyed it, I did.

Special guest2:scant regard

Slender, slim and good-looking. Are you alone? Does he play alone? I thought so, but that seems to be his style. He played live on a live guitar to the sound of his typed music.

He was wearing sunglasses so thick you couldn't see his face, but when he took them off, he was wearing proper make-up. I want to learn from him.

Finally!!JESUS JONES!!!

At last I was able to see JESUS JONES in the UK for the first time!

Oops, I'll miss the last bus.

As shown in the timetable, it starts at 21:20 and finishes at 22:45, and the last bus is a walk from here (location unconfirmed) at 22:51, so there was no way to get back to the inn if we missed it, so we gave up the encore in tears.

The gentleman by me has worked in Japan (for a manufacturer that everyone knows). He said "when are you going back to Japan? Japanese companies have short winter holidays, don't they? I was like that too ".
I was wearing a 2019 Liquidizer T-shirt with the Tour Date on the back, so some people talked to me and said, "I was in Bristol!" I'm sorry, I'm just bought a T-shirt.

When exiting without waiting for an encore, "You! The place! Are you sure? Do you want me to keep it?" Everyone was so kind!
The atmosphere on the floor was great!

the Final Bus to inn

I find a five-minute walk from the... I wait for the bus... It doesn't come!
Wouldn't that have been a great opportunity to see encore? The bus came late at the time we were supposed to be there!
Damn...
It's a good thing I got home in one piece.

and…back to London

I was so excited to see JESUS JONES live in the UK that I couldn't sleep much (pure?😂) and went to the station with bloodshot eyes.
