From Spreadsheets to Masterpieces: A Serendipitous Leap to Art(X)

Seven amazing years at Houzz whizzed by like a London double-decker bus. Launching across Europe, Nordics, Russia, and APAC, I helped take the company from Series C to a pre-IPO valuation of $4 billion. But then, a curious yearning tugged at me. It was time for a detour, a chance to explore the world and experience the unexpected.

Houzzでの七年間は、ロンドンの二階建てバスが駆け抜けるように過ぎ去りました。ヨーロッパ、北欧、ロシア、APAC地域に進出し、シリーズCからIPO前の時価総額40億ドルまで企業を成長させる手助けをしました。しかし、あるときから新たな渇望が私を引き寄せ始めました。予期せぬ道への転換、世界を探索し意外な体験をするチャンスでした。

Imagine trading in boardrooms for breathtaking vistas. My first adventure was a photography expedition in the Icelandic Highlands. Alongside the legendary Ben Hardman, polar photographer, and Siggi Bjarni, an Everest-conquering mountaineer, we braved temperatures that would make a penguin shiver (-22°C?) and navigated treacherous icy rivers, making our own tracks in the fresh snow.

I craved solitude and the open road. So, I embarked on a solo off-road expedition across the entirety of New Zealand. It truly felt like being in Lord of the Rings. Over 12,000 miles, I documented the raw, uncharted beauty of both islands, sleeping under a canopy of stars.

一人での道のりと大自然を求めて、ニュージーランド全土を横断するソロオフロード遠征に出ました。まるで「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング」の世界にいるかのようでした。両島の未開の美しさを12,000マイルにわたって記録し、星空の下で眠りました。
